Product Safety Policy

Our management and employees are committed to deliver the highest safety standards of our products and services to our customers.

We set safety performance objectives and targets, and allocate resources in organizing and maintaining an active Safety Management System.

We support open sharing of information on any product safety related issues and encourage all employees to report any errors, safety deficiencies, hazards or occurrences that could compromise the product or services we provide to our customers. We pledge that no staff member will be asked to compromise the aviation safety standards in 'getting the job done.'

We proactively examine our operations for hazards and find ways to minimize them. We encourage reporting of hazards and incident, training our staffs on our safety management system, documenting our findings and their mitigation actions, and striving for continuous improvement. All employees are advised that IECO will not initiate any disciplinary actions against an employee who discloses an incident or occurrence involving activities that affect aviation safety.

Ultimate responsibility for aviation safety in this company rests with me as the Accountable Manager. All managers are responsible for implementing the Safety Management System in their own areas of responsibilities, and they will be held accountable to ensure all reasonable steps are taken.

This policy statement serves to express IECO's commitment to and involvement in implementing the Safety Management System. This SMS will be incorporated as the standard of practice for this organization. Compliance with the safety rules will be required of all employees as a condition of employment. IECO is committed to be a learning organization and ensuring that all employees have the relevant knowledge, skills and expertise to perform their work to consistently high standards and to achieve their full potential.

The Company recognises that employee training and development is fundamental so that employee may contribute fully to the achievement of the aims and business objectives of IECO.


Environmental, Health and Safety Policy

IECO is committed to provide a safe and healthy work place and protect the environment. To achieve this, IECO operates an EH&S Management System that meets or exceeds the requirements of ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001.

We will:

  • Take appropriate measures to prevent workplace injuries and ill-health, and provide our employees, contractors, and visitors with a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Minimise the impacts of our activities on the environment by preventing waste and pollution.
  • Assess all new activities and products for EH&S impacts and evaluate implementing best management and industry practices to address the impacts.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory obligations, and other requirements, concerning the environment, health, and safety.
  • Continually review and improve our EH&S Management System and Performance.
  • Encourage employees, contractors, visitors and communities participation and involvement in EH&S matters.
  • Provide appropriate training to all employees to enable them fulfilling their EH&S responsibilities.
  • Organise activities to promote EH&S awareness.
